PDF cracker, as suggested in the title, helps you recover user and master passwords used to
encrypt PDF files. All you need to do is load the desired PDF file into the program, select
the saving location, select brute force, key search or dictionary method of attack and hit
start. in case you chose brute force attack (usually used when you can’t remember anything
related to the password in question), you can select the type of characters, minimal and
maximal password length, start and end characters.
The “Pro” edition allows to search for “owner” and “user” passwords with brute-force and
dictionary attacks, effectively optimized for speed (however, don’t expect to recover long
passwords in a reasonable time with these attacks). In addition, it has Key search attack,
which guarantees the decryption (regardless the password length and complexity) of PDF files
that use 40-bit encryption (the attack takes about 3-4 days on fast CPU systems).
